Agecroft Hall has a way of making you feel like you've stepped into another world entirely. When Abby and Travis said they were down for whatever, we took full advantage, exploring every corner of this stunning space, chasing the sunset light as it moved around the property, and yes, letting Travis ring the bell. This session was everything, and I can't wait for their wedding this October!
Agecroft Hall is unlike any venue in Virginia because technically, it isn't from Virginia at all. Originally built in Lancashire, England in the late 15th century, the manor house was dismantled, shipped across the Atlantic, and reconstructed in Richmond in the 1920s. Today it sits on the banks of the James River, a piece of Tudor England transplanted into the heart of Central Virginia. The architecture and the gardens feel like somewhere you shouldn't be able to find in Richmond. And that's exactly what makes it such a magical place to photograph.
If you're planning your Agecroft Hall engagement session and looking for a Richmond Virginia photographer who loves to explore and chase light, I'd love to hear from you. Let's make something beautiful together.
